When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We also collect the characters and artwork you create on the platform, and basic usage data such as which makers you interact with.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, personalise your experience, display your public profile and creations, and to communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Google OAuth
We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you log in with Google, we only request access to your basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture). We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or any other Google services.
4. Data Storage
Your account data is stored in a secure MongoDB database. Images and artwork you upload are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorised access.
5. Cookies and Sessions
We use HTTP-only, secure session cookies to keep you logged in. These cookies do not track you across other websites and are only used for authentication purposes.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us through the platform. Upon verified request, we will remove your personal information within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
OC Maker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
